Good News Brewing Company Expands to Mississippi: First Franchise Location Under Construction in Ridgeland

We are excited to announce that the first-ever Good News Brewing Company franchise location is officially under construction in Mississippi!

Brian and Julie Roach have recently acquired the former Reservoir Point property in Ridgeland, Mississippi, and are transforming this beautiful destination into the newest Good News Brewing Company location. Situated along the scenic Ross Barnett Reservoir, the property offers stunning waterfront views, a spacious rooftop deck, and a unique gathering space that has long been a recognizable landmark in Madison County.

The building itself has a rich history. Most recently, it operated as a wedding and event venue, while the lower level previously housed a comedy club. Its size, character, and location make it an ideal home for Good News Brewing Company’s mission of creating community gathering places where people can gather, eat, and drink together.

The new location will feature our signature craft beer and wood-fired sourdough pizza in a family-friendly atmosphere designed to bring people together. Guests will enjoy breathtaking reservoir views while gathering with friends, family, coworkers, and neighbors.

One aspect that makes this project especially exciting is our commitment to local craft beer. Good News Brewing Company has already secured its Mississippi microbrewery license, allowing beer to be brewed on-site. Brian and Julie plan to connect with local homebrewers and craft beer enthusiasts to help create beers that reflect the local community and Mississippi culture. While many of our house beers will continue to be brewed at our brewery in Augusta, Missouri, located in Historic Missouri Wine Country, we look forward to adding locally inspired Mississippi brews to the lineup.

The Reservoir Point area is already home to several popular restaurants, pubs, and entertainment venues, making it a natural fit for Good News Brewing Company. We believe our combination of craft beer, wood-fired pizza, community events, and welcoming atmosphere will be a great addition to the growing Ridgeland and Madison County community.

As a franchise system, Good News Brewing Company was created to empower local owners to build gathering places that strengthen their communities. Brian and Julie’s passion for hospitality, community involvement, and creating memorable experiences made them a perfect fit for our first Mississippi franchise location.

Construction is now underway, and if everything stays on schedule, we hope to welcome our first guests later this summer.
